Jesus is able. I have often repeated that three word sentence over and over in my head because I know that my God is able to do anything. Do you believe it? I have been thinking about this particular article for several months now and I really do think that Jesus has two things that he wants all of us to believe no matter what. It’s not easy to believe these two things every single day and it’s often hard but if we do believe them we will be operating out of faithfulness.
These two things are the most powerful two things that we as believers can believe in and I’ll tell you this, if you don’t constantly remind yourself of these two things and truly believe them than you’re missing out my friend.
2 Things Jesus Wants Us To Believe
1. He Can Move The Highest Mountain
A couple of months ago I was on a website of this particular church and they were selling stickers that said, “You can move the highest mountain” and when I saw that sticker I just felt moved by it and I bought two of those things. I put one on my car and the other I lost to be honest (stop laughing at me!) hey maybe somebody found it that needed it! Anyway, the sticker that I have on my car I see that sticker every single day and I am always reminded that Jesus can move the highest mountain!
Faithfulness makes mountains move
Most of the time it’s not Jesus who isn’t making the mountain move whatever the mountain is. It’s us that’s causing the mountain not to move. Maybe your mountain is a medical problem, maybe it’s a financial problem or maybe it’s a relationship problem if you’re not faithful that God can do it then it won’t happen. We are commanded in scripture to believe this promise:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
Do you believe that verse? Are you strong and courageous and filled with so much faith that you believe deep down that Jesus is with you wherever you go? Faith like described in the verse is what it takes to make a mountain move. Jesus can move the highest mountain with faith as small as a mustard seed. We’ve got to give him faith to worth with though.
2. The Best Is Yet To Come
We’ve got to believe that the best is yet to come! Jesus is in the miracle-working business and I believe that he is working miracles on your life right now. There is a verse in 1 Corinthians that I want you get down in you today:
“However, as it is written: What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived, the things God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
When we don’t claim it we don’t receive it
This is one of the greatest verses in the bible and I think it’s one of the most forgotten ones as well. receive this truth today and know that the best is yet to come! Claim that medical miracle, claim that financial blessing and believe that Jesus can restore that broken relationship because only Jesus can move the highest mountain and in him the best is yet to come!
