1 Thing We Can Learn From Ronda Rousey

Everyone knows who Ronda Rousey is because she is an amazing fighter. I guarantee you that I wouldn’t mess with her and if you’re honest neither would you! She is most famous for winning twelve matches in a row and not losing for a pretty long time. We could all agree that twelve matches in a row is an outstanding accomplishment. You don’t see many fighters these days winning twelve matches in a row but somehow Ronda Rousey did it. Ronda was top of the MMA and pretty much queen of women’s fighting until something happened to Ronda that changed the game.

The Unexpected

It is impossible to remain a winner forever. No matter what you’re doing you will have a setback at some point and that it completely normal. But to the world, setbacks or losses are considered to be your stopping point. I remember every single day that I watched the news and Ronda Rousey was on there for winning those twelve fights, until her thirteenth fight happened. Ronda Rousey lost her thirtenth fight and it shocked the world and it made everyone think that wow she is over and finished.

See, the thing about this world is that when you’re winning it will celebrate you. When you’re performing at your top-level it will gratify and glorify you but you make one mistake or lose one match it and will forget about the very next day. The world will love us until we have a breakdown. Have you ever had this happen to you? Where you were doing an amazing job and all of a sudden you leave the company or you lost a sale and then you seem to stop being celebrated.

How Jesus Works

Jesus doesn’t operate off of a system like the world does. If we fall or mess up Jesus never leaves us and he never will. To the world a breakdown is the stopping point. To Jesus, a breakdown is a setup for a breakthrough. Just because we make a mistake doesn’t mean Jesus stops loving us and showing us grace. Just because we have a breakdown doesn’t mean that Jesus is finished with us.

Jesus turns our breakdown into a breakthrough

Jesus uses our breakdowns and our pain for good. He sees our breakdowns as setups for a breakthrough. If you’ve got pain Jesus can take that and use it for good! How does he do that? Once you surrender that pain to Jesus he will turn it into a breakthrough and he might use that pain as a story to others on how you overcame it. If you’ve got debt, once you surrender that to Jesus watch what happens to it when he gets a hold of it. He will establish a breakthrough and then you’ll have a powerful story about how Jesus broke through a financial barrier.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” (Genesis 50:20)

Only Jesus take what was intended to hurt us and turn it into something good. The world will never be able to do that.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this article about how Jesus work in our breakdowns. If there is anything I can help you with or anything I can pray about for you just comment and I will do whatever it takes to help you. Thank you and the best is yet to come!
