Top 4 Books I’ve Read In 2018

Reading is stupid. No successful person ever said! That’s why I love to read and take in as much information as I can. Reading is one of the most valuable things that you can ever do and I promise you it’s not a waste of time. So, for the second year I summed up the top four books that I read in 2018 and I hope you can benefit from them as well!

It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way

Author: Lysa Terkeurst

In this book you will see how God is with you even in the worst situations of our life. You’ll see how God works through the pain and heartache and uses it for something good. This book will help you see that God is shaping you, is with you and never leaves you. This book also has great information about how to fight the enemy and win. From chapter one I loved this book and I know that you will as well.

The Blessed Life

Author: Robert Morris

This one was a reread for me because in this book pastor Robert of Gateway Church in Texas takes you through scripture and teaches you about why giving, tithing and being generous with your finances is so important. I’ve got to be honest, I never gave a dime to a church or ministry until I read this book several years ago. This book is the reason I started giving and tithing and it helped shape the way I think about money and it’s true, when you give generously just like Robert says in this book God will bless you and you’ll live the blessed life.

There Is More

Author: Brian Houston

In there is more Pastor Brian of Hillsong Church takes you on a journey and shows you how God wants to expand your thinking. Brian talks about how God wants to bless us abundantly beyond what we could ever imagine! This book helps you to understand that there is more for your life than what you think and honestly God used this book this year to help me see him in a bigger way than I did before.

Live Love Lead

Author: Brian Houston

In this book Brian is raw, honest and straight forward. What he shares catches you off guard but sheds so much light on what people are going through in their daily life. This book helped me to be honest with myself and those who I lead. This is a must read for anyone who is wanting to do some self reflecting.
