This past Labor day was one of the best days for flying that we’ve had where I live. In fact, I tried to go the previous two days before and I just couldn’t because of the weather.
Early in the morning is my favorite time to go fly. It’s nice and cool outside and the wind is usually low. I went out for about an hour this day and when I got back to the airport for my final landing the wind picked up!
I had to perform what’s called a crosswind landing where the plane is in what’s called a crab angle. The wind was blowing from the right so I had the airplane slightly turned to the right to correct for the wind. After I landed… I didn’t correct enough for the wind so the plane went off centerline a little bit 🙂
God is good and the best is yet to come! Enjoy 🙂
